The company: 
Is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of equipment and materials used in the industrial and automotive industries.  

The role:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will report to the Workshop Manager and will be proficient in the set up and operation of conventional lathes and mills and produce production items from detailed engineering drawings and be responsible for the complete assembly of production items as per production orders. 

You will have:

• Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner
• A solid technical and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use the necessary range of testing and measuring instrumentation (e.g. Gauges, micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, height gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• A keen eye for detail

This is an ongoing casual position with a view to permanency for the right applicant.  $35 to $38 per hour working a 38 hr week Monday to Friday.
