Renowned for their cutting edge technology and high end equipment with a reputation for excellent customer service and premium technical expertise, your new company provides a variety of services to the industrial market. With ongoing strong company performance, there is a requirement for a Field Service Technician with Wood processing machinery experience join the team.
Your new job
You’ll be the face of the company, providing excellent customer service and expert technical knowledge to different manufacturers across Sydney.
- You will be carrying out installation/project work, technical customer support, shift coverage both breakdown and preventative maintenance across manufacturing and industrial facilities in NSW.
- You will be reporting into the field service team leader and part of a broader field service team taking full ownership of your workload and client portfolio.
- You will be working across different sites on a daily basis, changing schedules and the ability to think outside of the box is a must and something you should be able to demonstrate from previous roles.
- You will get the opportunity to work with the latest state of the art Wood, Edgebanding and CNC machinery and highly automated equipment and control systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Field Service Technician/ Engineer will make you a success in this role.
- Ideally you will have experience as a Field Service Technician from the Wood or Timber processing industry.
- A mechanical trade or diploma would be advantageous, as would Electrical aptitude.
- You will be highly organised and have excellent experience managing your time across multiple sites/jobs with strong report writing.
- You will have carried out maintenance duties on complex machinery previously and your exposure to CNC Wood machinery would be highly beneficial.
What you'll get in return
As Field Service Technician, you’ll be rewarded with a permanent position which pays an annual salary of between up to $95,000 + super dependent on experience. You will also be given a yearly car allowance, phone, laptop and fuel card. Any overtime or call outs will be paid in addition. You will be provided with leading training and support to fully make your mark on this business, with the opportunity to train in Europe on the company's specialised equipment.
