THE POSITION:
We are seeking highly professional, mechanically minded and motivated individuals, ideally with trailer mechanical or welding experience to come and join the growing service team at our Derrimut site.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Have at least 3 years' experience in repairing and maintaining semi-trailers, or a like product;
- Be able to work within Krueger's high safety, quality and productivity standards;
- Be able to work as part of a team, with minimal supervision;
- Have the ability to diagnose faults, make recommendations and then complete required repairs;
- Be able to read and interpret drawings / spec's to determine and complete the job;
- Be confident with hand and power tools;
- Understand and be able to repair trailer air brake and suspension systems;
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of electrical systems and undertake basic repairs.
On-the-job training will be provided as necessary and hourly wages will be negotiated dependent on experience/trade qualifications.
