The modern maintenance and fabrication workshop at Laverton North supports an on-highway transport business, three concrete crushing plants and a highly-mechanized recycling business.
The workshop team maintains over 70 items of heavy mobile plant including 26 company on-highway trucks. The dynamic nature of the businesses makes for challenge and variety - there is no such thing as an average day.
Remuneration is an attractive hourly rate ($38 - $42 per hour plus overtime) based on experience. There is plenty of overtime and great opportunities for training and development if you are looking to expand your skills or get ahead.
You must have trade qualifications as an auto electrician. You will have experience in diagnosis, electrical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions and fuel systems on road trucks and heavy earth moving equipment. Experience with digital diagnostic techniques will be an advantage. But most of all we are looking for a positive attitude, willingness to join the team for the long term, mentoring ability for tradesmen/apprentices and someone who takes pride in what they do.
