We are now investing to strengthen and deepen our coverage of Mechanical Engineering by appointment to:
Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Impulsive Dynamics.
The successful candidate will be internationally prominent in Impulsive Dynamics or will demonstrate strong potential to be so. They will participate in related research within the School, winning substantial external research funding. The Institute for Infrastructure and the Environment (IIE) has been building up the research portfolio in impulsive dynamics, as a natural partner to Structural Engineering; IIE also has a vibrant collaborative research portfolio with other institutes in the School and it is envisaged that the new post-holder will build on a strong research programme in Impulsive Dynamics.
The level of appointment for the Lecturer / Senior Lecturer post will be determined by the selection panel.

Salary range: £39,324 - £46,924 (UE08) or £49,772 - £55,998 (UE09)
