Who we are
Cambridge Cognition is an innovative neuroscience technology company dedicated to measuring and improving brain health. We are particularly known for CANTAB, our best-in-class neuropsychological testing system, which is used globally in academic neuroscience research and drug development.
At Cambridge Cognition we also develop a wide range of digital health solutions to address the scientific and practical challenges of improving neural function, from identifying new digital biomarkers of neuropsychiatric disorders through to medical devices to assess dementia.
The Analytics Team
Our team of cognitive and clinical scientists advise pharmaceutical and biotech companies on how best to incorporate cognitive testing using our regulatory-compliant platforms in global clinical trials, including designing conducting the necessary statistical analysis.
In addition, we have a pipeline of internal and collaborative R&D projects investigating relationships between cognition and other aspects of health, and we actively develop innovative ways of using consumer technologies to capture accurate, relevant cognitive data on patients’ own devices as they go about their daily lives.
Together these projects generate vast amounts of cognitive and other clinical data which we use to drive analytic services and new product development.
The Role Requirements
We are currently recruiting in Cambridge UK for an individual with a PhD or MSc plus experience in the analysis of large datasets, preferably in a clinical trials setting.
Successful applicants will enjoy working collaboratively across scientific, product development and sales teams to deliver formal statistical analysis and develop new analytical solutions to commercial and practical problems.
The role requires:
- Excellent statistical skills
- Familiarity with tools such as R and SAS
- Additional software or coding skills are a bonus
The fast-paced nature of our business suits individuals who are comfortable juggling competing demands on their time, seeing through projects with minimal supervision, and who are willing to travel to meet with customers and collaborators. You must be able to communicate scientific concepts and results confidently and clearly to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
