This is an excellent opportunity to join the stats team in a unique, innovative and independent audit and research organisation.  

We are seeking an experienced senior statistician with a strong background in the design, conduct, analysis and reporting of randomised trials and other well designed research studies. The main purpose of this role is to provide statistical and methodological input throughout the research pathway, from the development of applications for submission to national funding streams, through operational delivery, to data analysis and the reporting of research findings. The role will also include the presentation of audit and research results at both internal and external scientific meetings and conferences

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in statistics, plus significant research experience in a randomised clinical trials and other research. They must be able to demonstrate practical involvement in all statistical aspects of design, conduct, monitoring, analysis and reporting, including an appropriate track record of peer reviewed publications.

Candidates will provide statistical support to colleagues and customers with the design, specification and planning of data analyses for ICNARC’s national clinical audits and clinical trials unit.
