Person SpecificationThe Department is seeking to appoint an outstanding academic with an excellent research record likely to be assessed as world-leading or internationally excellent in the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework. As a Reader or Professor of Journalism, the successful candidate will lead research and education, will possess an outstanding level of experience in the profession, ideally as a senior journalist and will demonstrate the strong leadership and organisational skills required for the role.
