The London School of Commerce (LSC) is a leading independent provider of higher education, with modern campuses in central London and a number of overseas locations.

The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, troubleshooting software or computer systems. This role will primarily be supporting the UK and other overseas campuses therefore travel may be required; however, the role will be predominantly office based.

The successful candidate will lead the team across all campuses in the provision of all IT-related infrastructure and support (including AV), as well as lead proactive development and continual improvement of IT strategy and manage all IT projects in the departments.

The ideal candidate should have more than 5 years experience supporting IT infrastructure, as well as providing server and network support and experience of working on projects-upgrades, implementation. The ideal candidate must have a degree within the IT field and excellent communication skills.

Key Technical Skills/Experience

Extensive experience of delivering and maintaining the following;

• IT systems in a Microsoft Windows environment (Microsoft Certified)
• VMware VSphere 5.0 (VMWare Certified)
• Enterprise storage – EMC
• Backup and recovery management
• Excellent knowledge and work experience of Telecoms.
• Networking – Cisco Switches, routers and firewalls.
• Linux systems and SQL databases
• Provide management of the websites, including hosting management
