As a Careers Consultant you will help students and graduates to acquire the skills necessary to find employment and to manage their career successfully. You will achieve this through a combination of group teaching, one-to-one guidance and the development of e-learning and other resources. A key part of this role will be for you to build strategic relationships with academic staff, employers and other professionals in order to design and deliver the best possible employability support.

We are currently recruiting for seven Careers Consultant positions, out of which one is a Widening Participation Careers Consultant (this is a 0.6FTE 12 months fixed term role). If you're interested in this specific role, please highlight this on your application form. In applying for this role, you are still applying to join The Careers Group as a Careers Consultant, and after the 12 months as Widening Participation (WP) Careers Consultant you will return to the main pool of Careers Consultants for a subsequent allocation to a College within The Careers Group.
If you are interested in this specific role but you would like to work full time, you may still apply for the WP role. In this case you will be allocated to King's College London on a 0.6 FTE basis with another allocation for the remaining 0.4 FTE. After the 12 months fixed term period, you will return to the main pool of Careers Consultants on a full time basis.
