Detail information about job Sackler Research Forum Programme Manager. Terms and conditions vacancy

The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UK’s leading institution for teaching and research into the History of Art and the conservation of paintings, and is also home to one of the finest small art museums in the world.

The Sackler Research Forum Programme Manager will lead the administrative team responsible for The Courtauld’s ambitious programme of research events, which includes research seminars, workshops, conferences, public lectures and debates, and an annual research festival (‘ResFest’). Supported by generous funding by the Sackler Trust, the Research Forum supports and promotes the research interests of The Courtauld’s academics, curators, and postgraduate students, and the wider fields with which we are engaged. Moreover, the Research Forum provides support for the dissemination and discussion of advanced research within specialist communities, as well as for the wider public (under the banner of the ‘Open Courtauld’ strand). Working closely with the Head of Research and colleagues across The Courtauld, the Programme Manager will play a leading role in delivering exciting new strands of activity during our transformative ‘Courtauld Connects’ project, and in supporting the Research Forum’s established programme.

We are looking for someone with outstanding leadership, communication and organisational skills. The successful applicant will have experience producing events, possess knowledge of the higher education landscape, and have a demonstrable enthusiasm for the history of art and related fields.

The Courtauld Institute of Art promotes equal opportunities.
