Detail information about job Development Officer. Terms and conditions vacancy

Lady Margaret Hall is one of the 38 colleges of the University of Oxford. Needing to increase its resource in the Development Team, LMH has created a new post and is seeking a full-time permanent Development Officer.

We are looking for someone organised and proactive to plan, implement and manage the LMH Annual Fund programme. This is a brilliant role to develop a career in fundraising and donor relations, and the successful candidate will have experience in a fundraising, supporter engagement or marketing role. They will be great with people, inspiring confidence in those they interact with who will include alumni, fellows and other members of staff.

Reporting to the Deputy Development Director, the Development Officer will develop a three-year Annual Fund Strategy and rolling Annual Fund plan. They will identify and determine the most appropriate approach for potential donors and be responsible for direct marketing, year group giving, the planning, management and potential expansion of the annual telephone campaign and, in time, face-to-face leadership fundraising.

We believe in developing our people and LMH is the only Oxford College with Investors in People silver accreditation. We offer a range of benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, membership of the college’s pension scheme, free lunches, a cycle to work bike-purchase scheme and interest-free season ticket loans.

For more information about LMH, full details of the job description, person specification and how to apply please go to our website at http://www.lmh.ox.ac.uk/about-lmh/jobs/

The College is an equal opportunities employer.
