Applications are invited for a new position, Deputy Student Recruitment Manager (International) based in the Cambridge Admissions Office.

The post is an exciting new opportunity within the Student Recruitment and Information Team, which provides events and resources for prospective applicants and their supporters in order to encourage applications to the University. The recently formed International Student Recruitment Team supports the University's developing international student recruitment strategy, liaises closely with internal and external stakeholders, engages in international recruitment trips and arranges visits to Cambridge.

The post holder will support the ongoing development and implementation of international student recruitment activity. It is anticipated that initial recruitment activity will focus on North America, China, India and parts of Europe, with the potential for refocus and growth. This will involve international travel (up to 12 weeks per year) as well as Cambridge-based events.

Applicants should be educated to at least degree level and have experience of student recruitment or student services with an education setting, alongside experience of planning and delivering events. In addition, applicants should have an understanding of the issues affecting recruitment and admission of international students, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to produce text copy for a variety of audiences.
