The Clinical Trials Research Centre, Department of Biostatistics, has a large portfolio of national and international clinical trials and other well designed studies. Our portfolio includes clinical trials evaluating medicines, medical devices and other interventions. We are seeking an individual to lead the co-ordination of the RAPID-I project. Funded by NIHR EME, RAPID-I is a randomised double-blind, multi-centre phase IIb trial comparing treatment of acute pancreatitis with infliximab versus placebo. You will work closely with the lead investigators and other research personnel to ensure successful completion of the project. Responsible for the day-to-day management oversight of RAPID-I, you should have experience of co-ordinating clinical trial/s and have a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and possess excellent communication and presentation skills along with the ability to organise yourself and others. You will be able to demonstrate the following qualities: reliability, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and experience of Microsoft Office. The post is available until 31 August 2018 in the first instance.
