Salary: £39,992 to £47,722 per annum (pro-rata if part time) together with USS pension benefits, if required.
The main purpose of this post is to provide effective strategic and operational management of Multi-Faith Chaplaincy and Community Liaison services at Swansea University, encompassing responsibility for the delivery of services to the highest standards and for ensuring the structure, staff, resources, policies, procedures and administrative and financial systems of the department are fit for purpose.
You will be expected to engage the broader university and local community by implementing and administratively supporting inter-religious and intercultural programmes that bring together diverse groups of students and staff from different religious, spiritual and secular viewpoints to work together to build a more inclusive and pluralistic community on campus.
You should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification or work experience You should also have experience in community/stakeholder/budget management and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of delivering pastoral/personal support to clients
This is a permanent position (35 hours per week).
