The Programme Management Office (PMO) that has been set up to support the delivery of the University’s Manchester 2020 strategy. The PMO works across the University to plan and implement business improvement projects to ensure that the University maintains and builds on its reputation as a world leading university.

In support of this work, we are recruiting a Head of Business Improvement to lead and manage the PMO and ensure the effective planning and delivery of the Programme, working across the professional support services and academic departments as appropriate. You will work with the Programme Director to implement initiatives to support the delivery of strategic change through a continuous improvement culture within the University.

You will have demonstrable leadership and management experience and credibility combined with in-depth University knowledge, enabling you to work with senior managers and their teams across the institution. You will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a strong track record of delivering effective organisational change management and business improvement.

The Head of Business Improvement will report to the M2020 Programme Director and be responsible for the Programme Management Office.
