About us
Founded in 2011 and a key division of London Higher, AccessHE is the pan-London organisation that aims to support the progression of under-represented groups to higher education (HE). It does this by enabling HE institutions (HEIs), schools and colleges to achieve their objectives on widening access to HE more efficiently and effectively. Researching and evaluating the impact of our activities is a key aspect of our work and we are now looking for a suitable candidate to maintain our research and evaluation during a period of maternity cover.
About the role
We are seeking a Research Officer to lead on the evaluation of our project portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher wishing to develop their skills, profile and to make a real contribution to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in London. We are looking for an individual keen to make their mark in this important policy area who has both quantitative and qualitative skills at post-graduate level.
About you (requirements)
We are looking for a postgraduate researcher with a sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and concepts, interested in developing new skills and opportunities.
If you feel your skills, knowledge and experience map to the following, we would love to hear from you:
- Experience of research projects; working with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to draft written reports, presentations and reports in a clear way that addresses key issues in a succinct manner
- A flexible worker, with experience of working in a small team and a willingness to work collaboratively, but also able to work independently when necessary.
