Applications are invited for the post of Educational Development Advisor in the Educational Development Team at Royal Holloway University of London.
The Educational Development Team provides strategic leadership, innovation, consultancy, guidance, and support in all aspects of teaching and learning in the College, and in the professional development of research students. This includes (but is not limited to) e-learning, classroom teaching, assessment/feedback, curriculum development, inclusion, Personal Tutoring, academic writing at Doctoral level, and students’ personal/professional development.
With relevant experience in teaching in higher education, and in academic writing, the Educational Development Advisor will work with the Educational Development team members, and other colleagues College-wide, in providing professional support to teachers at Royal Holloway, and in supporting and developing the academic writing of Royal Holloway research students.
The role will provide opportunities to work on a variety of ongoing and new projects across the team’s remit, and the development of appropriate specialisms may open up further leadership and advancement opportunities for the post holder.
This is a full time and permanent post, and is immediately available. This post is based primarily in Egham, Surrey, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London. The role will involve some travel, for example to Bedford Square, London.
