Sidney Sussex College is seeking to recruit a full time, permanent Reporting Accountant to join its busy finance team. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Accounting and Finance, the key focus of this role is to work proactively in developing and supplying timely and accurate financial information to the senior management team.
The salary range for this post is £32,004 - £39,324 pa, which equates to points 42 - 49 on the University’s single pay spine. Incremental progression up the range is discretionary. This post is pensionable under the College’s attractive contributory pension scheme and other benefits include free lunches when on duty, subsidised membership of the College gym, and access to childcare voucher and cycle to work schemes.
It is likely the successful applicant will be a recently qualified or part qualified accountant, preferably with experience in management accounting. Strong interpersonal skills are important along with a positive track record of providing accounting and management information to a wide range of customers. Strong IT skills are a requirement and experience of working with Excel and Sage 200 will be advantageous.
