Detail information about job Administrative Assistant. Terms and conditions vacancy

We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to work in our General Office, alongside our small team of medical secretaries. This role provides a first point of contact for callers to the practice, dealing with a wide range of enquiries and requests from patients, university staff, suppliers and other NHS organisations. It is also responsible for a number of different administrative processes supporting the workload of both the clinical and non-clinical teams.

The practice provides NHS GP care to around 18,750 Bristol university students and their dependents, many of whom are from overseas. We are seeking someone with a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills, who enjoys interacting with young adults and who can relate to the challenges that they face. The successful candidate will also have strong organisational skills and enjoy working within a team.

Previous experience of working within General Practice or other healthcare setting would be an advantage.

For informal enquiries about the role please contact either Mary Mellor or Louise Jones on 0117 330 2720 (select Option 2) or email [email protected] or [email protected].

It is anticipated that interviews will be held during week beginning 18th September.

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
