This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Services team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of services across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.
Do you have an outgoing personality with the creative flair to assist with develop an exciting student activities programme, encouraging residential students to make use of their local bar?
Are you able to provide effective supervision, assisting with a new food offer whilst ensuring that you deliver an engaging service, so that each customer feels special?
Then this may be just the role for you.
This is very much a ‘hands on’ position to support the operational efficiency of the main residential bar on campus, which also includes supervising and encouraging your team to exceed expectations.
To be successful in this post you will need:
- Ability to organise and supervise a team of staff.
- Understanding and knowledge of stock control.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Training and supporting the team.
- Be able to stay highly focused during intense service periods whilst maintaining attention to detail.
The role will also assist with providing the bars for main college events such as graduation and open days, as well as for weddings and conferences.
You will be expected to lead your team in driving the business forward and delivering the best to our customers, ensuring the highest quality service and standards.
The ideal candidate must be motivated by people, your team and your customers.
This position is full time, permanent and is available immediately.
