The University Library is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Library Assistant who enjoys working with students.  This role supports delivery of the weekend Help Zone service and a variety of other cross-functional activities such as the acquisition of library resources and reading list administration.

This position is offered on a part-time, fixed term basis until the end of June 2019.

The post is 22.5 hours per week for 35 weeks a year, September to June. The hours include Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with the rest of the hours worked during the week : all day Wednesday and all day Friday. Some flexibility is possible in regard to when the weekday hours are worked. The post holder would also cover the Help Zone service on Bank Holiday Monday afternoons in May.
