Applications are invited for the post of Faculty Administrator in the Department of History.

This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated administrator to help build and maintain a vibrant learning environment for both postgraduate and undergraduate students. You will work closely with departmental colleagues and other Royal Holloway staff from across the College to ensure effective and professional support for the smooth-running of teaching and examination processes within the Department, including production of course documentation, maintenance of student records and accurate assessment records. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of PG administration, and assist with undergraduate work and other administrative tasks supporting the department’s research and teaching as needed, including the coordination of department PG and UG open days and Applicant Visitor Days.

You will be able to work calmly in a pressured environment. You will be well-organised and adaptable, taking a proactive approach towards departmental processes and practices. Excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are required. You will be an excellent team player.

This is a full-time and permanent post, available from 9 October 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter.  This post is based in Egham, Surrey, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
