The Arts and Sciences BASc is now established as the leading interdisciplinary liberal arts and sciences undergraduate programme in the UK. We are looking for a dynamic, early-career education leader to work with us to continue the development of the BASc’ s ground-breaking curriculum.

The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in the co-ordination and delivery of the department’s first year compulsory Core courses (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/basc/current/core), in particular, the Interdisciplinary Research Methods module and the co-ordination of the final year dissertation. You will, further, have an interest in interdisciplinarity, especially with respect to interdisciplinary pedagogy, curriculum design and course management. You will be deeply committed to student learning across disciplines, engaged in conversations about the purpose of higher education in the 21st century and interested in the wider student experience.

We may also be willing to consider applicants who have a Bachelors in a science/non-science and a PhD in an opposite or complementary discipline. Previous experience of teaching in a university department will be expected.
