In order to achieve this we are investing in our professional services administration staff, building a team that will support the growth of the School, whilst providing an excellent experience for our students. Therefore the University of Leicester, School of Business is looking to recruit an Alumni Relations Officer. The Alumni Relations Officer plays a key role in supporting the School’s alumni engagement programme.
Main responsibilities in this role will include working with the School of Business’ Marketing and Events Team in communicating with alumni via telephone, face-to-face, email and post, providing administrative support, and responding quickly and in a helpful manner to queries from alumni. The post-holder will also be expected to work closely with the School’s Marketing Officer and the University’s Alumni Relations Team to implement the School’s alumni relations strategy.
You will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office and administrative experience within a busy environment. Excellent customer service experience, oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal with a range of tasks and deadlines. Experience in event management would be desirable.
