Full-time open ended contract subject to fixed term funding. Funding is available until 31 March 2020

We wish to appoint a researcher with excellent statistical skills to carry out analyses for three research projects at the University of Leicester. You will develop and implement methodologically appropriate statistical strategies and lead and independently carry out quantitative analyses. This will involve analysis of large national complex datasets, utilising advanced statistical techniques including survival analysis, inverse probability censored weighting (IPCW) and multiple imputation. You will also provide statistical advice and specialist support to study staff and contribute to presentations and publications.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Biostatics or Medical Statistics or have a relevant MSc plus extensive research experience. You will also have experience of quantitative statistical analyses, ideally in the area of perinatal or paediatric care. A good working knowledge of the Stata or R statistical software would be beneficial.
