A fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role at one of England's fastest growing universities is now available.
York St John University is going through an exciting period of change and growth. Building on over 175 years of educating people from all walks of life in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of York, we're looking to our future with new courses, major investment in our campus, and an absolute commitment to outstanding student experiences and high quality research.
These developments have helped us achieve sector-leading growth in popularity in recent years and we're keen to build on that success. The University's Marketing Manager has a vital role in making that happen. Drawing on excellent experience of planning, preparing, and implementing successful campaigns, you will lead the evolution and implementation of the University's Marketing Strategy, developing insight, ideas, and initiatives that best position York St John to promote its student offer.
You will be able to inspire those around you through excellent team management and build positive and ambitious relationships with internal and external partners, including the management of key contracts and accounts to provide consistently high quality customer experiences.
You will also show an aptitude to work confidently across digital, print, and face to face publications to ensure consistency in the University's visual identity, narrative, and brand, tailoring these to your audience. The ability to analyse and apply market data to help guide decisions will also be really important.
The University provides an excellent environment to develop and demonstrate your leadership skills in marketing. We are open to new ideas, committed to working alongside students to offer an authentic voice, and developing a range of new courses and initiatives with strong market potential.
