The University’s Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is seeking to appoint a new Associate Dean to strengthen senior leadership within its vibrant, cutting edge and dynamic environment:
Associate Dean (Research)
You will work closely with the Faculty Dean, Executive and the university's Pro Vice-Chancellor Research to provide Faculty-wide strategic management and leadership in relation to research. You will be responsible for developing a culture of research excellence and in taking the lead role in driving the submission for the Research Excellence Framework.
Holding a PhD or equivalent research experience, with a strong personal research profile you will have demonstrable experience of generating external income. You will be an effective communicator with proven leadership skills and high personal impact with the ability to represent DMU at the appropriate level.
