Education Support Administrator – (multiple positions available)
2 full time posts and 1 full time 6 months fixed term post available.
Band 400 - Full time starting salary is normally in the range £18,793 to £20,147. With potential progression once in post to £24,591 a year.
We seek an experienced administrator who will provide a professional front-line service working within the School Education Support Team in the School of Engineering.
The post holder will provide general administrative support within the Education Support Office to academic staff and students.
This will include supporting student recruitment and processing applications, timetabling, assessment support including coursework and exam mark processing, attendance monitoring and graduation events.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to deal effectively with professional and academic colleagues.
They should have significant experience of working within a busy multifunctional environment and be able to prioritise workloads to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
The candidate should be educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent, and have a minimum C grade in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
