The Department of Geography at UCL is a research-led department with an international reputation, offering innovative teaching programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Department wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow in the area of Political Economy/Economic Geography to deliver a core undergraduate module in Economic Geography, undertake programme administration and contribute to other modules. This will include participation in one undergraduate residential field class. The post covers an academic vacancy and is available from 18 September 2017 until 31 December 2017.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject area and experience of teaching political economy or economic geography at the undergraduate level. Candidates with a doctoral thesis at final submission stage may be considered. The primary criterion for appointment to the post is evidence of teaching excellence in the area of the appointment.
