About the role:

Joining our Counselling and Wellbeing Service, you’ll work within a team of Counsellors and Mental Health Advisers to ensure a high quality student experience. You’ll have the opportunity to use your professional skills and experience in a flexible way to best support our students, working holistically alongside other colleagues from other services and our faculties. You'll deliver a range of Counselling and Wellbeing Services within Student Services across campuses and represent Student Services internally and externally.

With a degree, and relevant professional qualification in counselling/psychotherapy, e.g. BACP/UKCP/BPS membership and substantial experience as a practitioner in an organisational setting with expertise in counselling/wellbeing support. You'll have significant experience of operating within guidelines with limited supervision and experience of resource design and development for counselling/wellbeing. Experience of planning and progressing work activities within general and professional guidelines is essential.
