Detail information about job Science Programmes Administrator. Terms and conditions vacancy
The Sciences Team based in Registry supports the SGUL Biomedical Science, Healthcare Science and Intercalated BSc programmes, the Kingston University (KU) MPharm modular teaching programme, as well as progression and award processes for the Joint Faculty Radiography and Physiotherapy BSc programmes.
Contributing to the broad work of the Sciences Team, the Science Programmes Administrator may be required to provide administrative support for any of the programmes within the team’s remit, however it is anticipated that the post-holder would be specifically responsible for overseeing the organisation and delivery of MPharm modular teaching at SGUL; Years 1-3 of the KU MPharm programme (cohorts of 150 students) attend teaching at SGUL approximately one day per week.
While the MPharm course is a Kingston University programme, St George’s University and Trust staff contribute to programme delivery and assessment at SGUL, and the modular teaching programme comprises lectures, tutorials, laboratory practicals and clinical skills. The post-holder will act as a central point of contact for MPharm modular teaching arrangements and queries, continually seeking to ensure delivery of a high quality student experience. The role requires effective liaison with a wide range of academic staff, working particularly closely with the Course Director and Module Leads at both SGUL and KU. The role also requires effective collaboration with colleagues in the Timetabling & Room Bookings and Teaching Services teams.
The salary for this role is within the range of SGUL 4: £21,585 to £24,983, plus £3,027 London Allowance.
