The Department of Academic Quality within the Student and Academic Services Directorate is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious professional to play a key role in coordinating the effective implementation of academic quality assurance processes within collaborative provision activities in the UK and overseas. This is a varied and challenging role, liaising closely with departmental academic and professional services colleagues, wider university services, and key contacts at academic partnerships. The successful candidate will work at a state-of-the-art campus located in the heart of bustling and metropolitan Leicester and will provide specialist advice and guidance; support the enhancement of quality assurance processes; and take the lead in the management and coordination of the annual quality monitoring review activities.
This role would suit a motivated and resourceful individual with an interest in quality assurance and enhancement principles and their application in Higher Education. Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and plan tasks and projects effectively along with experience of working in a higher education environment are essential. The post holder will be required to undertake extensive UK and overseas travel.
