Detail information about job HR Administration Assistant. Terms and conditions vacancy
An opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for a pro-active, self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our Faculty HR team.
The main focus of this role will be to provide efficient administration to assist the Faculty HR team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being in a busy environment and therefore, must have demonstrable administrative and organisational experience, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
Your core duties will be managing the administration of the office, including being the first point of contact for the HR office, filing sensitive documentation, drafting employee correspondence and associate contracts, maintaining databases and data entry for probation, appraisals and promotions.
To be successful in this role you will need the confidence to deal with varied and demanding challenges, maintaining a professional, positive approach and telephone manner. You should be a team player who can adapt and be flexible in a changing environment. Good attention to detail is essential, as are great communication skills.
As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be expected to undertake an in-tray exercise to demonstrate their competency in Microsoft programmes, in addition to a formal panel interview.
If you are able to work with a high degree of confidentiality, contribute constructively to our busy team, but also work on your own initiative and under pressure, then we would like to hear from you. We offer a competitive salary and great benefits, including a very generous holiday allowance and pension.
Interviews will only be held on the 27th September with a view to the successful applicant starting as soon as possible.
