Non-Tenure Track Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Position in Public Administration and Public Policy
The School invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position in Public Administration and Public Policy, broadly conceived. This is a renewable non-tenure track position in the Public Policy and Global Affairs (PPGA) programme. PPGA is a major programme in SSS. It attracts excellent students to its BA, MA, and PhD degree programmes. It also provides General Elective Courses for the entire university community.
The University strongly emphasizes effective teaching and impactful research and provides ample support for both.
Selection will be based on evidence of potential for high-quality research and effective teaching. Candidates should possess a Ph.D.
The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including General Education courses, as well as supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects. Courses that he/she may be expected to teach include, Introduction to Public Administration; Theories and Methods in Public Administration and Public Policy; Public Policy Making Process; Comparative Public Administration with special reference to Asia; Public Organization and Management; and Strategic Innovation.
