ABOUT THE ROLEThe successful candidate will provide outstanding academic leadership in respect of the development of the teaching, research and community engagement activities of the Department.
The Professor / Associate Professor will be expected to:
- Lead and make an outstanding contribution to the Department’s teaching programs.
- Undertake and publish high-quality research in journals of international reputation.
- Actively contribute to the development of the Department’s research agenda.
- Participate in competitive external research funding activities and generate research income through application to major funding bodies.
ABOUT YOU
- PhD in a relevant discipline.
- A reputation for excellence in research and teaching demonstrated through an outstanding publication record and teaching performance indicators.
- Extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and PhD supervision.
- Evidence of success in obtaining competitive external research funding.
