The Department of Engineering at the University of Leicester is seeking to make an academic appointment in the field of Engineering. As Lecturer you will be expected to conduct research aligned with one of the Department of Engineering’s research groups.
You must have a PhD (or equivalent) in Science, Engineering or a closely related field. You must also demonstrate a growing research record of international standing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as the ability to apply for funding and supervise PhD students.
You will be expected to undertake teaching, tutoring and administrative duties across a range of engineering courses, particularly in the delivery of teaching modules in China, for up to 15 weeks each academic year, that are part of the Department’s collaborative partnership programmes in the People’s Republic of China.
