The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be Grade 7 £37,936-£41,163 per annum/Grade 8 £42,304-£49,904 per annum. Plus £10,000 Market Supplement per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The UCL School of Management is seeking a full or part time Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow able to act as a "CTO in residence" to inform and shape the development of the Schools teaching of topics relating to digital transformation and the impact of emerging computing technologies on management practices.
The post-holder will be expected to extend the School’s capability to educate undergraduate and postgraduate students in the very best practices in the selection, development and management of computing platforms and tools, and to develop and maintain relationships with key commercial partners. To do so it is expected all applicants will have extensive experience of enterprise computing and solid knowledge of theories and practice of system specification and design. The post-holder will also be expected to manage and teach a variety of modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level relating to IT related topics, together with undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation supervision, personal tutoring, and wider citizenship and knowledge exchange roles.
This is a full time position, however, working on a part time basis can be considered for a minimum of 14.6 hours per week.
This position is available from 1st October 2017.
It is expected all applicants will have experience of the selection, implementation and deployment of enterprise computing tools and platforms and solid knowledge of theories and practice of IT system specification and design.
For consideration of appointment at Senior Teaching Fellow level, it is expected that an applicant will have a PhD or equivalent Doctorate or equivalent professional qualification.
