Department/Location: South Cambridge
Applications are invited for an efficient, friendly and well-organised Receptionist in our busy Facility in South Cambridge.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for staff, students, visitors and contractors and need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people in a professional manner.
Duties include dealing with general enquiries, booking seminar rooms, ordering stationery, co-ordinating onsite parking, ordering supplies and providing secretarial support when required. The post holder will also be required to arrange catering for meetings and other events when required.
Knowledge of Windows Office software and the ability to learn to use bespoke IT systems are essential.
The appointment is subject to a health assessment and a security check. Whether an outcome is satisfactory will be determined by the University.
The post is subject to the satisfactory completion of a 3 month probationary period.
