In partnership with St Paul's Eye Unit the University of Liverpool is offering an exciting and innovative opportunity to train as a future academic ophthalmologist. The post is suitable for clinical trainees who have completed their core clinical training equivalent to UK ST3.

You will undertake research within a multi-disciplinary research programme in vitreoretinal surgery and ophthalmic bioengineering. You will be expected to register for a PhD/MD.

You will also be expected to extend your general clinical ophthalmology training by undertaking two clinical sessions each week at St Paul’s Eye Unit.
