We are appointing an Admissions and Financial Aid Adviser to work within the close knit Admissions and Financial Aid team. If you have the ability to build strong relationships and have a keen eye for detail then this is an excellent opportunity for you.
The Admissions and Financial Aid department has responsibility for managing the admissions process of all of the school’s programmes to ensure that the school’s recruitment objectives are achieved. Reporting to the Admissions Manager, the Admissions and Financial Aid Adviser is responsible for executing the admissions process, ensuring that it is operated in a timely and efficient manner. This position will utilise in-depth specialist knowledge of the programmes to provide advice to applicants and identify any issues arising with the admissions procedure.
The Admissions and Financial Aid Adviser also participates in the management of scholarship selection processes, and will develop knowledge of financial aid options in order to provide guidance to candidates across all programmes.
The Admissions and Financial Aid Adviser will have a wide range of duties to include but not limited to, building excellent relationships with internal departments, dealing with the processing of applications across required divisions, arranging interviews and sending out admissions and funding offer packs and decline letters. They will be quick to respond to a number of enquiries from prospective students and internal stakeholders.
To be considered at the shortlisting you will have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to confidently deal with a range of questions and queries from senior stakeholders to incoming students. Meticulous attention to detail will be required as well as the ability to confidently organise and plan your own workload. You will be pragmatic in your approach to your work, and be confident in using your own initiative to solve problems. Previous administrative experience, within admissions, would be a distinct advantage.
