In order to achieve this we are investing in our professional services administration staff, building a team that will support the growth of the School, whilst providing an excellent experience for our students. Therefore the University of Leicester, School of Business is looking to recruit a Communications Officer. The Communications Officer plays a key role in supporting and assisting the implementation of the School’s internal and external communication strategy.
Main responsibilities in this role will include working with the Associate Deans of Enterprise and External Relations and the School’s Marketing team with responsibility for the development and delivery of external and internal School communication strategies.
The successful candidate will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office and administrative experience within a busy environment. Excellent customer service experience, oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal with a range of tasks and deadlines. Previous experience of event management and/or understanding of the Higher Education sector would be desirable.
