The Welsh School of Architecture wishes to appoint a full-time Senior Lecturer/Reader in the area of Architectural History and Theory. The post holder will be expected to deliver high-quality and research-led teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and to contribute to the research record of the School by carrying out research leading to the publishing of work in high-quality books and journals. The successful candidate will pursue excellence in research, teaching and enterprise and inspire others to do the same.

The position is full time (35 hours per week) and is open-ended.

The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the Grade 8 scale.

Senior Lecturer Salary: £49,149 - £56,950 per annum (Grade 8)

Reader Salary: £58,655 - £60,410 per annum (Grade 8, Point 50 – 51)
