We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the Open University in the design and evaluation of pedagogically effective, consistent, creative and student-centred learning experiences, within the framework of the University’s Learning and Teaching strategy. 

As a member of the Learning Design team, you will work across different projects in partnership with a range of academic and professional colleagues, students and other relevant stakeholders to support the development, implementation and evaluation of the Open University’s Learning and Teaching approach.

You will have knowledge and experience of the design of distance learning approaches as well as an ability to work effectively across different projects, drawing on a range of well-developed interpersonal skills to discuss and clarify needs and facilitate decision making.
