We require a new full time, permanent member of staff with expertise in Policing.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalent industrial experience in policing. Experience of teaching and supervising student project work would be essential as would possession of a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to gain one). Experience of module management would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and able to communicate with students, tutors and academia at all levels.
Duties include teaching on and preparing materials for a range of undergraduate and/or professional programmes. Tutors are sought for courses that run during the day, evenings and/or at weekends through face-to-face (or potentially) online teaching environments. You will also provide support to senior academics for module delivery and assessment as well as Outreach activities and Open Days.
