We are looking for a Market Access / Technical Officer who will be supporting the Business with regulatory affairs concerning market access activities, compliance to and interpreting of OMARs. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the regulatory system. In collaboration with Sales & Market Managers, contribute to country strategies, and develop insights and access strategies when required. This role is also responsible for the management of customer (both internal and external) technical requests, queries, to deliver responses and resolutions in a timely manner. This role would collaborate with the Sales, Innovation and Business Development teams, and be the point of contact to drive exceptional customer service, and nurture effective customer (internal and external) relationships concerning quality requests.
Good communication is needed as you will be speaking to a wide range of customers both internal and external with a high regard to Health and Safety and Quality is also desired. The role also requires self-management with good planning in this fast paced environment, an ability to motivate people and have a positive attitude.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP systems
- Knowledge of MPI’s regulatory framework
- Experience in problem identification including symptoms, causes and effects
- Internal and external auditing experience
- Specification and PIF experience
- FMCG or food industry experience desirable
- Tertiary qualification in food technology advantageous
- Excellent time management skills
