The Role

Contribute to the company's quality and food safety goals through promoting Quality & Food Safety within Danone Nutricia. This position will support the Food Safety Team ensuring Quality Managemnt Systems are implemented within production. You will assure adherence to all Food Safety and Quality standards, make continual improvements & recommendations with regards to ensuring our site remains compliant. Developing and maintaining documented systems as part of continuous improvement and verifying those systems following the requirements of FSSC-22000, 5 PRP including NNS and NZ regulatory and OMAR requirements

Your Responsibilities

  • In process inspection of processes, procedures, premises, people, and product / raw materials / packaging  (5 PRP)
  • Non-conformance management, including rework, NCR, and ANSO.  Effective Root Cause Analysis , preventative and corrective action
  • Ensuring factory compliance to GMP, HACCP & regulatory standards within production areas
  • Reporting, analysis and investigation of out of specification results, including process, equipment, packaging, raw materials, finished product and environmental results
  • Management of PRP's, such as pest control and intrusive maintenance, Environmental swabbing, collation of results and reporting
  • Super dry clean swabbing, inspection & coordination
  • Auditing, including glass & hard plastic, system audits & mini audits
  • Supporting SOP and documentation updates
  • Supporting HACCP management, including training of production staff and competency assessment  following training
  • Supporting and coordinating factory validation and verification
  • Support line clearance, PO change and product change
  • Carry out Food Safety and Hygiene Induction
