This is a unique opportunity to get involved in a large commercial property portfolio for a public sector organisation with a significant property footprint across the Auckland region. Initially a 6 month contract that may extend, this role is suited to a candidate from the property sector that enjoys the operational functions of managing a commercial property portfolio but is also happy to ‘go with the flow’ and facilitate adhoc demands at a moment’s notice.

You may either be an experienced Property Manager or perhaps you have supported a high performing property team, have a relevant qualification and are now ready to take control of your own portfolio. Acting as a liaison, you’ll be interfacing with a variety of invested parties, stakeholders and tenants, so you’ll need to be self-confident in group forums that are often political and not able to be influenced.

The key attributes for the contract include:   

• Background in the Commercial Property space
• Experience with commercial lease renewals, rent reviews, tenancy agreements
• Commercial acumen and well considered judgement
• Excellent communication skills and self-confidence
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrate high standards and a degree of resilience
• Able to commence immediately and commit to a 6 month contract.
