This client a leading professional practice is in need of a highly experienced Practice Manager for its residential council consents processing division. In this position, you will have proven experience in the processing and management of resource consent applications, exceptional time, project management and workflow management abilities; the ability to lead the process of approvals for resource consent within the local council, facilitating of internal and external stakeholder interactions with governing authorities. You will as well possess a demonstrated understanding of risk, with the ability to communicate risks effectively to key stakeholders within the business and externally.
Key requirements include:
- 5 years+ in the processing of residential consents, leading a team of processors.
- Expert knowledge of the building industry codes, standards, regulations and the Building Act.
- Previous experience in dealing with the Auckland City Council, with excellent relationships with the consent division within the Council.
- A thorough knowledge of compliance and registration matters around residential consents with the Auckland city council and management of audits with governing bodies is critical.
