We are an international business operating in six countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Due to our continued growth and expansion we are seeking to employ a Business Development Executive to join our team based in the Wellington Central Office.  The role operates on a Monday to Friday basis, between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm. 

Your primary objectives will be to:

  • assume responsibility in the preparation and co-ordination of accurate tenders and quotations, focusing on market trends, budget guidelines, and requirements of potential new clients.  This also includes the structure and costings
  • assume responsibility for key business development functions including market research and analysis, liaison with clients and landlords, preparation and submission of business development proposals, and ultimately the acquisition of new trading locations
  • conduct analysis of our portfolio and target sites
  • assist in maintaining and growing our property portfolio
  • develop strategic and innovative business and marketing solutions
  • oversee general administration tasks associated with development activities such as production and distribution of promotional material, filing, photo copying, printing, and binding documents
  • assist with scrutiny of site operations, identify and implement site operational efficiencies and trading enhancements
  • prepare formal management and trading reports for clients, landlords and statutory authorities on a monthly and annual basis

The ideal candidate: 

  • will have one year's experience in the commercial property market (ideally more), with particular focus on sales, leasing and asset management
  • a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance or Property
  • will have an understanding of the methodology used in the costing of new projects and the application of such a methodology
  • be able to analyse financial data and implement into tender documents in graphic forms that are easily interpreted and validated
  • have well developed communication skills and an outgoing personality
  • have strong computer and analytical skills
  • be able to work as part of a team and independently
